George Larkins is a commercial visual artist specializing in photography, motion graphics and film direction. He is based in Harlem, NY and has worked in France, Germany and Russia. He holds a BFA from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, an MFA from Pratt Institute in New York, and has been influenced by the works of Gordon Parks, Robert Frank, Georges Brassai, Andrei Tarkovsky, Sarah Moon, and Paolo Roversi. He believes that an artist must learn to cherish the process of creation, for without a deep love of the process, creative work cannot be sustained into a professional practice or into any level of creative exploration.
